- Before I talk about lifejackets explain that in Canadian regulations we still refer to what is tested for turning as a lifejacket and what is not as a PFD Adopted Level 70 with policy Now consulting on Level 50 and youth inflatable Revived discussion of requirements for wear CMAC in November I believe that we will be discussing both of wear requirements and Level 50 and youth inflatable – likely a proposal on the last two Options to encourage wear of lifejackets Requirement to wear in environmental conditions or circumstances that could jeopardize the safety of persons on board Many small boats that were having to carry both lifejacket and PFD
