  1. 1. The Armor of God Ephesians 6: 13–8 13: Take to you the whole armor of God.
  2. 2. Can I help? Truth is what we learn from God’s Word. Jesus said to God, the Father, “Your Word is truth” (John 17:17). Righteousness is to obey this truth and do what is right in considerate and caring ways. loin: the front of the body below the waist, including the hips 1 2 girt: fastened 14: Stand therefore, having your loins1 girt2 about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
  3. 3. 15: And your feet shod3 with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 3 shod: equipped with shoes I know that Jesus is taking care of me, and that gives me peace. To keep my shield strong, I study God’s Word. The Bible teaches us about God’s loving care. 4 quench: to put out 16: Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench4 all the fiery darts of the wicked.
  4. 4. 17: And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18: Praying … in the Spirit.5 Jesus has saved me and He forgives me for the wrong things I do. Studying God’s Word helps to keep my sword sharp! Jesus is always with us and loves for us to talk with Him! Prayer is communicating with God.
