3 Things I can be this Christmas

  1. 1. 3 Things I Can Be This Christmas Sometimes I wish I could be a superhero and do awesome acts for people during Christmas. My dad told me that even though I don’t have superpowers I can still be amazing and do wonderful things for people. So I thought about it, and here are some things I would like to be this Christmas that can make a difference to me and others.
  2. 2. I can be positive. Even when I feel like being grumpy, I can do my best to be positive and look for the good in each situation. I can conquer negative moods by doing my best to be happy even when things don’t turn out as I wanted them to. When I am positive and focus on all the wonderful things that I am blessed with, not only do I feel good, it makes others feel happier too.
  3. 3. I can be courageous. Doing new things is a challenge. It takes courage to try something I’ve never done before. I can be courageous by seeing each new challenge as an adventure. When I am brave and step out to do something new, especially something that will help others, then I am doing my part, no matter how small, to make things better for others.
  4. 4. I can be adaptable . With many things happening during the Christmas season, sometimes things don’t go as I would like or plan. I can be adaptable, which means I have the ability to change and adjust to whatever circumstances I face. It’s not always easy, but when I make the effort, it makes me feel better. It’s one little way that I can make things easier and better for my parents and those who care for me. Best of all, these things can be a part of who I am all year long! What can you be this Christmas that would make it an extra special holiday for others too? Merry Christmas! Authored by Devon T. Sommers. Illustrations by Alvi. Design by Stefan Merour.
