  5. 5. DiamonDenim Spinning Diamond Denim's spinning facility enables us to achieve vertical integration from yarn to garments. Our machinery is from Trützschler, Marzoli, Toyota and Savio. We also produce many cotton blends which include: hemp, linen,Tencel, post consumer waste & recycled polyester. We are able to produce over 90% of the yarns we consume for denim fabrics in ring slub, core spun and Dual FX yarns.
  6. 6. DiamonDenim Weaving At Diamond Denim we use Air Jet and Rapier looms from Tsudakoma and Picanol to ensure optimal performance and greater flexibility. Wider looms enable us to provide our customers with higher width in stretch fabrics allowing them to optimize their fabric consumptions. Our weaving production capacity is 65 million meters annually. We also have the capability to produce jacquard and denim jacquard fabrics
  7. 7. DiamonDenim Processing Our finishing department includes BenningerMercerization and Washing, Monforts Stenter and Pentek pre-shrinking to guarantee the best performances on our fabrics. Our pigment and sulphur coating machines,as well as our printing machines allow for enhanced denim treatments.
  8. 8. DiamonDenim Apparel Diamond Denim’s garment making facility is fully equipped with the most advanced machinery. We currently produce jeans, chino, skirts and fashion garments. Our goal is to make aesthetically pleasing garments with sustainable washes. Our capacity is currently at 400,000 pieces per month.

Editor's Notes

  • Diamond Denim is one of the branches of the Sapphire Group; The first Sapphire spinning mill was established in the 1970’s and in the span of fifty years, the group has expanded into a
technologically advanced, quality oriented enterprise, fully integrated with Spinning, Weaving Denim & Apparel Divisions.
  • Cotton grown in Pakistan is very suitable for coarse count spinning, which makes it the ideal cotton for denim manufacturing.
Given the amount of fabric manufactured in the country, Pakistan is growing fast in the apparel manufacturing in order to be
more sustainable and shorten lead times.
  • Diamond Denim's spinning facility enables us to achieve vertical integration from yarn to garments. Our Capacity is 2600 spindles which help to feed our Weaving division in house.
  • Wider looms enable us to provide our customers with higher width in stretch fabrics allowing them to optimize their fabric consumptions. Our weaving production capacity is 65 million meters annually.
  • Our Fabrics processing facility is fully equipped with start of art machinery to produce non-denim & denim, Our capacity is around 8.5 million meters annually.
  • Our design & development team is made up of international consultants and local experts.
The team are at the forefront of new fabric innovations, design development with strong links with industry experts in chemicals,
machinery and fibres to provide more sustainable product
  • GIZ supported us in terms of technical assistance provided to the improvement of Sapphire Diamond Fabrics Limited with the framework of GIZ project Dialogue for Sustainability, we would like specifically acknowledged the professionalism shown by the project team, technical team and all other.
  • group houses some of the most technologically advanced, excellence driven and quality oriented enterprises doing business with over 500 global customers around the world through its Pakistan based operations. A USD 900 mn conglomerate with fully integrated textile businesses, multiple power producers and a state-of-the-art Dairy Farm
