Moving into Traffic <ul><li>Visibility-look at the oncoming traffic, observe any road signs or signals, and notice if someone is behind you. </li></ul><ul><li>Time-Do you have time to move into the lane, and what is the speed you will need to get into the lane? </li></ul><ul><li>Space-Is there room for you to enter the roadway? </li></ul>

Leaving Traffic <ul><li>Visibility-get in the lane where your destination is, and use your mirrors to check to see if cars are in your way. </li></ul><ul><li>Time-wait until you are able to make your move safely and make sure you have enough time to do so. </li></ul><ul><li>Space-make sure there is room in the lane for you to be in. </li></ul>
