  3. 3. Hours of Operation <ul><li>Library : </li></ul><ul><li>8:35 a.m to 3:15 p.m., </li></ul><ul><li> Monday through Friday. </li></ul><ul><li>After school : You may stop in to return or check out a book after school if Mr. Maas is in the library. </li></ul>
  4. 4. When You May Use the Library <ul><li>With your entire class </li></ul><ul><li>During your lunch period (ask the cafeteria monitors for a pass) </li></ul><ul><li>With a pass from your classroom teacher </li></ul><ul><li>After school </li></ul><ul><li>If Mr. Maas is not in the library when you come down, please return to your assigned room. </li></ul>
  5. 5. At All Times <ul><li>Have work to do and / or an assignment ! </li></ul><ul><li>Work quietly ! </li></ul><ul><li>Sit four per table or as assigned </li></ul><ul><li>No food, beverages, water bottles </li></ul>
  6. 6. At All Times continued <ul><li>No grooming, gum, game-playing. </li></ul><ul><li>No cell phones or radios, etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Respect all materials, furniture and equipment. </li></ul><ul><li>Do not rearrange the furniture. </li></ul>

How do I borrow a book? <ul><li>General collection </li></ul><ul><ul><li>May be checked out for 2 weeks </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Fine for late book is 10 cents per day </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>There are two library catalog computers </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>If you have books out that are overdue, or if you own fines, you will NOT be able to check more books out! </li></ul></ul>

  10. 10. Magazines <ul><li>The library subscribes to a handful of magazines—they are currently not displayed because of space issues. </li></ul><ul><li>Check Ebsco Host (electronic database) to locate articles that you want to use. </li></ul>
  11. 11. Computers in the Library <ul><li>The library has its own cart of laptops, and there is the Mac Lab in the back of the library. </li></ul><ul><li>NEVER make changes on computers! </li></ul><ul><li>No computer games , chat , IM or email . </li></ul>
