Mortgage Network Serves Meals to Neighbors in Need

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MORTGAGE NETWORK SERVES LUNCH TO NEIGHBORS IN NEED AT PREBLE STREET Mortgage lender knows the recipe for serving the housing needs of the community Portland, ME – March 28, 2014 ─ Six Mortgage Network, Inc. employees from the company’s South Portland and Portland offices recently spent an afternoon at the Preble Street Resource Center soup kitchen, enthusiastically preparing and serving lunch to hungry Portland residents. On March 25th, Judi Hutzler, Elizabeth Knight, Kimberley Johnson, Karen Dufour, Jeff Rae and Courtney Ouellette served hundreds of meals to homeless and low-income adults, children and families. The Resource Center soup kitchen is just one of the three Preble Street soup kitchens that serve over one thousand meals each day to individuals in the greater Portland Area. The non-profit relies on over 5,000 volunteers each year to serve over half a million meals to the homeless.
