  5. 5. Integration - Registration system (Banner)  Problems faced:  Manual creation of accounts in Moodle  Too many passwords  Manual enrollment  Out dated student list – during “drop & add” period  Accounts on-hold are not reflected in Moodle  Dis-continue accounts after graduation
  6. 6.  Process  Automated script  Reads from Banner  Run daily after midnight  Groups of students per section  Push the groups into Active Directory  Under student organizational unit  Creating organizational unit for every role (Instructor, Co-instructor…)  Groups are created based on Moodle “Course ID”  CourseID_CourseNumber_SectionNumer_InstructorEmail  BIOL_201_1_wissamn  Changed every semester Integration - Registration system (Banner)
