Whether it is reducing CO2
emissions, making us better athletes, or even protecting
our firefighters, the high-performance polymers and specialty chemicals from
EMS-Chemie AG improve our lives each and every day. To serve its customers better,
the EMS-GRILTECH business unit needed to enhance production planning for more
than 10 product families to more accurately predict peaks in demand.
Working with the SAP® Consulting organization, EMS-GRILTECH deployed SAP
Predictive Analytics software in two months. User-friendly analytics mean production
planners don’t have to be statisticians to perform monthly assessments of quarterly
sales forecast data. Flexible, accurate forecasting validation means EMS-GRILTECH
can reduce inventory levels and costs while increasing product availability, delivery
capabilities, and customer satisfaction.
