  5. 5. The MEITETSU bus company, which runs both city buses and inter-city bus services from the Nagoya region to Tokyo, Osaka, Niigata and Nagano, was Mobileye’s first success story in Japan. MEITETSU equips every new bus with Mobileye systems. The Mobileye system does not issue audio warnings to the driver. Instead it sends signals which set off vibrations in the driver’s hat or collar.

Both sets of trucks travelled 50,000-70,000 km/year. </li></ul><ul><li>The results of the pilot study were clear-cut. The trucks without the AWS system were involved in 55 accidents. </li></ul><ul><li>The 100 trucks with AWS were involved in only 20 accidents. </li></ul><ul><li>In light of the results of the pilot study, Morgan Capital decided to equip ALL of its trucks with AWS. </li></ul>
