  • Thank you. Today I will be discussing how high-speed mobile data capability allows companies to bring previously disparate data streams together in one place to improve efficiency, customer service and speed to market. Today, a product or service delivery fleet can have real-time intelligence that allows maximum dexterity to adjust to customer needs. Companies have full visibility of their supply chain. At the dawn of an age when on-demand services – and same-day retail delivery – are king, real-time transparency and seamless flow of information are critical.

Fleet vehicles to efficiently dispatch and interact with technicians & vehicles using Android/Apple/PC platforms to leverage the high bandwidth connectivity provided by the CSV. Key features include Apptricity Smartfleet Inventory
Tracking packages with RFID reader, Call Routing to Nearby Technicians, Telestration and In-vehicle routing with dual LTE interfaces for broadband connectivity.
  • In New Zealand, our partner Chorus is using this technology to create the world’s first “Gigacountry” town by town, each one having the speed of Chattanooga, The Fastest City in the US. By using this, Corus believes they can speed the progress of their country’s infrastructure by an order of magnitude. The following video is an overview of the possibilities.

    2. 2. Our Time Today Will Cover: •How high-speed mobile data capability changes business •Companies now bring previously disparate data streams together •All to improve efficiency, customer service and speed to market •Real-time intelligence in a product or service delivery fleet • Allows maximum dexterity to adjust to customer needs • Allows companies full visibility of their supply chain •The dawn of on-demand services and same-day retail delivery •Real-time transparency and seamless information flow Timothy Garcia How Are Fleet-Based Businesses Leveraging 4G LTE to Transform Themselves into Mobile Warehouses – and Gain Market Share – in the Age of Now?: B2ME
    3. 3. In this session you will learn: •What is B2ME, Business to the Mobile Enterprise? •How can transformative new tools/technology make a difference? How to empower companies with efficiency to better compete. •How M2M technology helps companies get closer to customers. 4. 4. What is B2ME, Business to the Mobile Enterprise? •BB2ME means business is finally untethered and really mobile. •B2ME is embracing Mobile as a new stage for business. •B2ME deserves its own category as it has never existed before. •B2ME means delivering real-time information to distributed businesses on mobile platforms from iOS to Windows to Android. •B2ME allows everyone, from upper management to dispatcher to field service engineer, to get command visibility. •B2ME Lowers the risk of disappointing customers •B2ME is 360-degree visibility within the supply chain, from start to finish. 5. 5. What Do People Want? The unexpected consequence of great design, like iPads and iPhones has had a positive and irreversible conversion of what people want. •People have become more sophisticated users of technology. •The individual is empowered and usually BYOD’s their work. •People expect access to similar functionality across all their roles. •People make fewer distinctions between work and non-work activities. •People have come to expect and make use of location services & contextual search results in their work. •People integrate spontaneous interaction with their social networks to enhance everyday experiences. •People spread those experiences across multiple devices, often at the same time. Timothy Garcia How Are Fleet-Based Businesses Leveraging 4G LTE to Transform Themselves into Mobile Warehouses – and Gain Market Share – in the Age of Now?: B2ME
    6. 6. What changed? • Everyone is “mobilized”, creating immediate demand for everything. “It’s about me!”! • High-speed mobile data capability now allows companies to bring disparate data together. • In the age of “now”, business demands efficiency, customer service and speed to market. • Today, the dexterity to adjust to customer needs requires real-time intelligence in vehicle. • Companies need full visibility of the entire supply chain from start to finish. • At the dawn of an age when on-demand services – and same-day retail delivery – are king, real-time transparency and seamless flow of information are critical.   Timothy Garcia How Are Fleet-Based Businesses Leveraging 4G LTE to Transform Themselves into Mobile Warehouses – and Gain Market Share – in the Age of Now?: B2ME
    7. 7. What has converged is more than technology The highly interactive and integrated experience available via devices and the 4GLTE network brings several dependencies act together: 1.Immediacy: Access to relevant information requires access to ubiquitous cloud services all the time. 2.Mobility: People are mobile, and they require devices and applications in their hands as opposed to machines tethered to a desk. 3.Mapping: Location data shapes the enormous amount of potential data into information that is most relevant. Timothy Garcia How Are Fleet-Based Businesses Leveraging 4G LTE to Transform Themselves into Mobile Warehouses – and Gain Market Share – in the Age of Now?: B2ME
    8. 8. Market Research • There are over 9.3 Million Fleet Vehicles in the US alone • 10% of the Market share @ $1,200 per vehicle generates $1.1 B in Annual Revenues • 9 Minutes of labor savings per day returns over $1,200 per year to an Enterprise   Timothy Garcia How Are Fleet-Based Businesses Leveraging 4G LTE to Transform Themselves into Mobile Warehouses – and Gain Market Share – in the Age of Now?: B2ME

    12. 12. Connected vehicles make a difference as they: • Allow for real-time tracking of assets M2M • Ensure that vehicles are properly stocked based on the day’s activities • Enhance productivity by allowing smaller & more accurate service windows • Provide real time information on new & updated work orders & their status • Improve customer satisfaction through accurate service delivery times & integrated customer communication Timothy Garcia How Are Fleet-Based Businesses Leveraging 4G LTE to Transform Themselves into Mobile Warehouses – and Gain Market Share – in the Age of Now?: B2ME
    13. 13. Smartfleet is an operations interface that a business can use to leverage the real-time information provided by a fleet of connected vehicles. An Operations Manager will use the Smartfleet to efficiently organize and direct the day-to-day operation of their fleet services. The Fleet Manager has access to work order tracking, inventory levels, and vehicle info. such as location, maintenance, and diagnostics data. Video streaming connectivity to each individual vehicle allows the Fleet Manager to quickly resolve any issues.
