Celebrate Recovery is a Christ Centered program for anyone who wishes to find the power of Jesus Christ to escape the power that our “hurts, hangups, and habits” have over us.We do that by fellowshipping around a meal every week, Large Group worship, teaching, and testimonies to help people meet Jesus Christ the Lord through the 12 Steps and 8 Recovery Principles. Weekly small group sharing and intensive “step studies” help people find the power of Jesus Christ to live a new life.Celebrate Recovery of Lawrence County makes a difference in people’s lives by giving them a “safe place” to share their struggles freely while finding the power of Jesus Christ to turn lives around! Our local “Big Night”  starts out with a time of fellowship about 6:00 PM, a time for praise and worship at 7:00 PM followed by either a Biblically based lesson or a testimony of the power of Jesus Christ to set people free from their past. At 8:00 PM, open sharing groups (one for men, one for women) will allow people to freely discuss the recovery topic(s) emerging from the teaching or testimony. “Cross Talk Cafe” ends the evening as people can go deeper in conversation or just relax before finishing the evening. If you’re visiting for the first time, after our large group presentation, you’ll learn more about Celebrate Recovery in our special “101 Class’!
