8. And so the king kept Shahrazad alive (viva), eagerly anticipating each new story. One thousand and one nights later, the king had not only been entertained but wisely educated in morality and kindness (bondad) by Shahrazad who became his queen. By telling stories, she not only saved her own life, but also the lives of others.

19. Exercise 1: Put the following paragraph in the reported speech into conversational form using direct speech. Peter introduced me to Jack who said he was pleased to meet me.
