 Passenger flow in Ukraine grew +21% (+2.2mln) up to 12.9 mln passengers in 2016 (2015 -
10.7 mln passengers)
 15 Polish airports provided transportation of 30.4 mln passengers in 2016: 49% of air
transportation is provided by the regional airports

 Expand cargo service, currently one cargo flight per
day, existing customs facility
 Potential passenger service: а) local population of
211,000, comparable to many regional centers (Ivano-
Frankivsk 227,000, Ternopil 217,000, Lutsk 216,000,
Uzhgorod 116,000); b) 126 km to Uman – potential for
attracting existing passenger traffic from other airports.

7. GO HIGHWAY WILL CONNECT ODESSA PORTS TO EU MARKETS
 11 projects in the framework of GO
highway (539 mln euro in total) will
facilitate further improvement of
connection between Baltic and Black
seas as well as: а) road safety; b) port
infrastructure and logistics; b) regional
development;
 Implementation of GO highway project
will decrease transit time between
Gdansk/Gdynia and Black Sea ports
(Odesa, Yuzhny, Chornomorsk,
Mykolaiv) from 23 hours up to 15 hours.

8. IMPROVING TRANSPORTATION TO THE EU
 Financing (180 mln euro) will allow to
reconstruct 20 projects in 4 regions on the
roads Р-14, М-08, М-24, М-25, М-26, Н-22, Р-
14, Р-53, Т-07-14, Т-14-01, Т-26-01, Т-26-04,
Т-26-08
 Improving road connections with Poland,
Slovakia, Hungary, Romania will facilitate: а)
growth of cargo/passenger transportation; b)
increase of transit potential; c) unification of
Ukrainian and European infrastructure
standards

9. TEN-T: IMPROVING CONNECTIVITY WITH EU
 Development of TEN-T program
in Ukraine facilitates improving
cooperation with EU and
eliminating bottlenecks inside
the country
