2. Introduction
The Partial payment and layaway extension for Magento2, helps you
to sell your products and services through Instalments, EMI and
Layaway plans. Customer can place order with down payment and pay
remaining amount in instalments. The Pro and Auto version of this
extension allows the admin to offer multiple instalments and layaway
plans to the customers. With our Auto version, you can also auto-
capture instalments from buyers’ credit card on due date.
4. Extension Configuration
After buying the extension, you can configure
by navigating here through Magento backend.
You can access your serial key
from My account dashboard
and enter here to activate the
module.
This block explains how the admin can
enable/disable the partial payment
extension from the admin panel.
5. Customizing Partial payment brand
label
The admin can customize the partial
payment brand label that is to be
displayed on the frontend.

7. Creating Instalment plans
Set the number of instalments in
which you want the buyer to
complete the payment. This is
available only in PRO and AUTO
version. The MINI version allows
only two instalments.
Setting this to “No” will disallow
the buyer to make full payment
while purchasing the product.

9. Selecting “Flexi Layaway Plan” will break up product price into equal amounts
according to number of instalments that you have set earlier/ as defined in
product specific feature in “Manage product” section. The customer will have
these many instalment options in the frontend to choose from.
Once you select “Fixed Instalment Plan”, you will be guided to set down payment
amount, down payment type (fixed amount or percentage of product price) and
monthly/weekly/daily plan.

11. Enabling Instalment Auto-capture
Only in AUTO version
This functionality allows the admin to auto-capture instalments from the
buyer’s credit card on instalment due date.
12. Setting Maximum Credit Limit
You can define maximum credit limit for buyer and create a ‘credit
limit surpassed message’. On crossing this limit, buyers will not be able
to pay partial payment orders and the message will be displayed to
them.

14. Shipping and Discount charges

When the partial payment option is applied to “Whole cart”, the admin has a
facility to add these discount amount and shipping charges to the down
payment amount or to distribute these equally among all instalments.
15. Setting Minimum order amount for
partial payment
When partial payment is applied to “Whole cart”, then the admin has the
option to set a minimum order amount. Only if the buyers purchase
products worth more than this amount, they will be able to place the order
with partial payment facility.
16. How to add category image?
The store admin can upload an image that would be visible on the frontend
alongside the product. This is generally used to explain the customers that a
particular product is available with partial payment.
17. How to apply partial payment product
specifically?
By navigating to the catalogue section and clicking on
“Edit” for the desired product would allow the admin
to assign partial payment features uniquely to that
particular product.
18. Email Settings
This Magento2 partial payment extension allows the admin to
constantly engage with the customers via email notifications.
