  • Commercial Objective Twitter is a great tool for reaching customers and prospects, building relationships, educating your followers on your business values, products, and services, and ultimately increasing sales. Approach Get a following by being social in the community, following others relevant to your community and even retweeting news and information from other companies that relate to your product. A more subtle approach will get prove more beneficial in this type of community where you are looking more for connections and generation of interest, rather than making outright sales
  • Not a fad - a great, effective way to engage with your existing and potentially new customers, partners, suppliers Changing the way we communicate. The way we consume information has changed fundamentally – newspaper eaxmple. Not free - many of the services and tools are free but there is an Opportunity cost . It is your investment in time needed to formulate a strategy and plan, and then to implement and monitor those plans. Tweeting takes time, updating your facebook page takes time so you need to manage your time effectively and establish your ROI. Not just social not just chatting about what you had for breakfast - it is an effective business tool that allows you to engage with your customers in unique and personalised ways.
