  • DCL – Departure Clearance including revisions transmitted to the aircraft on the ground D-ATIS Digital Automatic Terminal Information Service (D-ATIS) up-links of airport weather, hazards, and restrictions to the aircraft. ACL – ATC Clearance Air Traffic Control clearances, instructions, and notifications provided in a textual format (data messaging) between controllers and pilots. Limited ground automation generated messaging for non-trajectory changing messages (e.g., beacon code changes, transfers of voice communications).
