The MEEA Policy Webinar: Midwest Perspectives on a Net or Gross Energy Savings Approach was held on Wednesday, April 24th, 2013. The webinar provided an overview of MEEA's recent policy paper, A Net or Gross Energy Savings Approach: Perspectives at the 2012 Annual Meeting of the Membership, and also reviewed federal efforts to devise uniform evaluation methods for the most common energy efficiency programs. The webinar featured Samantha Williams, Policy Manager at MEEA, who presented a summary of MEEA's new policy paper, and Michael Li, Senior Policy Advisor for Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, U.S. Department of Energy, who discussed recent collaborative efforts by the State and Local Energy Efficiency Action Network and the Uniform Methods Project. 66 people attended the webinar, and the presenters fielded approximately 15 minutes of questions from attendees at the end of the session.
