Lights for Learning Teacher Training Webinar 2016-2017

Published on

The Lights for Learning program offers free K-12 lesson planning resources (including presentations, scripts, activity books, student contests and more) for eligible Illinois public schools through a generous grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity. Through Lights for Learning, Illinois teachers can build their own engaging 30-45 minute lesson plan that stimulates their classes’ awareness of energy efficiency and inspires them to take action. The habits that students adopt through Lights for Learning presentations and activities make energy-conscious and environmentally-aware choices an integral part of the rest of their lives. By promoting energy-efficient products and practices in their neighborhoods and during dinner-table conversation at home, students can become community energy efficiency ambassadors. Learn more about how to take full advantage of our free educator resources in this 12 minute video.
