2. About The Band...
‘lets not pretend’ is a rock band from
Sheffield made up of a
drummer, guitarist, bassist and singer.
They’re type of music consists of quite
heavy rock music, but they have their soft
side of songs.

4. More information
The band is quite recently popular, they are mostly
known for the behaviour of their lead singer but
also for their female drummer as it isn’t a very
stereotypical role. They were signed to Trouble
Empire Records in 2011. Until then they were
playing small gigs at local pubs such as The
Mester in North Anston, South Yorkshire. The
band brought their first single whilst signed in
February 2012 called ‘Infamy’. The record hit all
of the UK selling millions. This was there calling.

5. Lead Singer
The lead singer Ellie Grocock is the star of my
magazine. The band has received quite a lot of
fame due to her outrageous behaviour. Her
behaviour involves things such as reckless
partying, lots of alcohol and there has also been
rumours of drugs. Ellie has a very particular
attitude, she appears to not care what people
think and continues her wild behaviour. She is
only 20 years old and was signed at 19 so some
of this behaviour is expected from somebody so
young. Her band also party and drink a lot but
she certainly goes for it and doesn't hide her
lifestyle.
