SAFETY AND TRAINING
• Adhered to all USCG safety guidelines and consistently passes all required certifications
including, but not limited to: emergency procedures, fire fighting, loss of propulsion, loss of
steering, man over board drills, medical emergency, abandon ship drills, emergency radio
communications, adverse weather conditions, tide & current management.
• Created HSE training programs and coordinate implementation handling and defensive
driving.
• Interstate licensed commercial driver WA CDL Class B, P-1 endorsement.
• Conducts pre and post tour inspections to ensure the vessel is safe for public passenger use.
Maintains all documents and logs as required by USCG and DOT.
• Developed streamlined hands on training and on-boarding programs; resulting in reduction
in training times, employees were able to start jobs sooner realizing a savings to the
company.
