I started my career creating derivatives backed by mortgage-backed securities, which played a large role in the 2008 financial crisis. Afterwards, I vowed to devote the rest of my career to building products that add value, instead of executing transactions that subtract value. In 2012, I co-founded a document analytics startup and guided the company through acquisition by Nitro, where I led the product management team. Currently, I'm exploring how artificial intelligence can make hidebound verticals like finance and accounting more efficient.
