Geometric solids 2

  1. 1. By. Tyler Barkemeyer
  2. 2.  A face is a flat surface on a geometric solid. A cube has a flat surface a cone has a flat surface.
  3. 3. A is a line segment where two faces meet. A cube has 12 edges a triangular prism has 9 edges.
  4. 4.  vertices are a place where three or more edges meet. Vertices are corners one a shape.
  5. 5.  A cube is a 3D square it has 6 faces 12 edges and 8 vertices or 8 corners.
  6. 6.  A cone has 1 face 0 edges and 0 vertices.
  7. 7.  A sphere has 0 faces 0 edges and 0 vertices.
  8. 8.  A cylinder has 2 faces 0 edges and 0 vertices.
  9. 9. A triangular prism has 5 faces 9 edges and 6 vertices or corners.
  10. 10.  A rectangular prism has 6 faces 12 edges and 8 vertices or corners.
  11. 11.  A rectangular prism has 5 faces 8 edges and 5 vertices or corners.
  12. 12.  A triangular pyramids have 4 faces 6 edges and 4 vertices or corners.
