  6. 6. MentLife -Mentors Are recruited from scientists with a PhD degree and currently working in industry or academia or are senior scientists They are specialists or leaders of research and have experience in collaborative work with academia. They have an extensive network in industry and academia on a national as well as international level. We are doing this because we feel strongly that the collective experience we have as scientists in leading positions is not used in an effective way to support students and collaboration with industry. This initiative will have spin off effects for example finding talented researchers and support of small build up companies. Lee May 2013
