Induction Training <ul><li>A type of training given as an initial preparation upon taking up a post. </li></ul><ul><li>Goal: to help new employees reach the level of performance expected from an experienced worker. </li></ul><ul><li>Contains Information about: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Layout of the firm's Operating Facilities </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Health and Safety Measures </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Security Systems. </li></ul></ul>
  4. 4. On-the-job Training <ul><li>On-the-job training takes place in a normal working situation, using the actual tools, equipment, documents or materials that trainees will use when fully trained. On-the-job training has a general reputation as most effective for vocational work. </li></ul><ul><li>Has a practical nature, which can form strong bonds between people and help foster a good team spirit. </li></ul><ul><li>Highly effective way of learning new tasks. </li></ul>
