Your Tierzero data connection (T1, T3, Fixed Wireless, Business or Metro Ethernet) needs to be installed before Business Voice can be turned up. Generally you will need to engage your PBX vendor to configure the voice lines on your PBX to complete the installation.

Not only do we respond if your circuit goes down, we can tell if the line is having problems and may go down. In both these cases we immediately spring into action and take proactive steps to insure your up-time. In the event your circuit goes down we open a trouble ticket and contact you to make sure you have not turned off the router or there was a power outage at your site. If there is trouble on the circuit we run tests to determine if the problem is with the phone company portion of the line or with the wiring in your building. In the event of phone company trouble we immediately escalate leveraging our volume purchasing power with the phone company

That means we can get trouble resolved in minutes that takes others hours or days. Many times we do this work in the early hours of the morning before your team gets to the office saving you lost time in productivity. If the problem is with a Tierzero provided router or the inside wiring leading up to the router we will dispatch one of our field techs to quickly resolve the problem. We know your business Internet access is critical to your operation so we do everything we can to minimize downtime.
  9. 9. BUSINESS VOIP LINES Do the calls go out over the Internet? No. You are connected to Tierzero with a private data connection that runs from your office to our secure data center. Once the call reaches us we route it directly to the person you are calling. However, if you have a remote location where we cannot provide a direct connection, or if you plug your phone into a different location, your call will go over the Internet until it reaches Tierzero, where we then route it to its destination without going over the Internet. If you have a good Internet connection at your remote location your call should be clear. I have an IP PBX. Will it work with my phone system? Many of the popular IP PBXs have been tested with our service connecting via SIP. Those include various models of: Astra, Adtran, Alcatel-Lucent, Asterisk, Avaya, Centrepoint, Cisco Systems, Cisco-Linksys, Digium, Epygi Technologies, Fonality, IPFX, LG-Nortel, Microsoft, Mitel, Nortel Networks, Panasonic, Samsung , Siemens and Sphere Comms. If your IP PBX is not on this list it still may work. Just give us a call and we can check it out.
