    4. 4. TIPS FOR EFFECTIVE TABLING Do not sit down Stand at front of table Do not use the phone Engage people as they walk by More than likely will not engage you Smile and make eye contact Make them like you

TABLING• Make sure table display is attractive  Informational displays and handouts  What does that entail?  Does it standout? Consider the time of day, week, year  Recruiting new members in December…  Selling hot chocolate in April…  Doing a fundraiser at 4 pm on Friday in Tate Plaza…Let’s practice…

FUNDRAISING AND DRIVES• What makes your fundraiser stick out compared to others?• Does the individual have a chance to get something if they donate?• Remember tabling strategies• Consider the season or time of year  Holidays (Valentine’s, Halloween, etc.)  Special occasions (organization founding dates/week, upcoming events, etc.)
