6. Informational Video: Tips
Before watching “Video #1: Types of Claims” (you will watch Video #2 later in the
lesson), read these tips.
● You can re-watch something you just saw as much as you want before
answering the question, BUT you will not be able to advance past the question
until it is answered.
● You are not able to change your answer to a question after you have
submitted that answer.
● IMPORTANT! When the video automatically pauses, it means you should see
a question to answer (or a comment to read). After addressing the question or
comment, click “continue”, and the video will continue to play. Do not ignore
the comments--they are there to help you!

7. Application Exercise
Now you will apply your skills. Complete the “Identifying
Types of Claims” activity on Blackboard. This will be for
reading points based on accuracy. Please use your book to
help you. All responses will be one letter only. You will
see detailed instructions once you open the activity on
Blackboard.
