2. History
• Mrs. Carol Cavanagh was an employee in the Tall House
Inn, a restaurant, and her father George Boucher was
the head chief at that time. Ruth Wakefield was the
owner of the restaurant and creator of the sugar
cookies. The sugar cookies were sell at the lobby and
came free with meals. One time when preparing the
sugar cookies, the electric mixer with its vibrations
made the shell above to drop some chocolate Nestle
bars which felled to the cookies dough, they thought it
was all ruin, but Mr. Boucher told her not to discard
them, for reasons of not wasting the materials used,
and said to put it in the batch. Finally, the cookies were
created!
