Converting leads3. Demonstrating return on investment4. Generating a high-volume of leads5. Longer sales cyclesOptify published their 2013 survey results for B2B Lead Generation Marketing Trends with over800 B2B responses. 61% of respondents stated that the #1 challenge is generating high-quality leads followed by converting leads into customers at 43%. Demonstrating return oninvestment is found to be another challenge for 37%. An additional challenge for marketingis handling longer sales cycles, which comes in at about 23%.BtoB Magazine’s Priming the Pipeline: Driving Awareness, Conversions & Sales report displayed60% of B2B marketers are looking to generate more leads in 2013 based on 242 B2Bparticipants. These results also reported that 47% have a lengthened sales cycle comparedto three years ago, making lead generation even more of a challenge for B2B marketers.MarketingSherpa’s B2B Marketing Benchmark Report had over 1,700 B2B marketerparticipants.
