What Works Best <ul><li>Metabolic Typing recognises the impact of foods on certain bodily systems that determine the acid/alkaline affect of the food far greater than the ash of the food, which is the principle idea by which Alkaline Diets are based. </li></ul><ul><li>In order for the bodies organs, glands energy systems to work best; some Metabolic Types require lots of fat and protein in the diet whilst others need many more carbohydrates. The idea that we need high amounts carbohydrates or sugar in the diet for energy is vastly oversimplified and does not stand up. </li></ul>
