SNH – Cooperation for Netbased University Education Goal Delvelop, produce, remix and share OER and netbased courses Web site OpenSNH www.opensnh.se and www.snh.se (built with OMEKA.org) Members • Swedish Educational Broadcasting Company (UR.se) • Mid Sweden University (MIUN.se) • University of Gävle (HiG.se) Budget and dependence Member fee 1000 EURO per year. All incremental costs, work time and contributions is payed by the member or contributor.

OpenSNH.se – Web site with OER and Theme pages OER TV- and radioprograms from UR.se, Recorded lectures/webinars, Podcast, Self instructed assignments (PBL), Quiz/online test, interactive mindmaps, e-books, web documents Theme pages Sustainable development, Academic writing & study techniques, Theory of Science & Science methods, Open Educational Resources (how to produce them), Philosophy (We create 2-3 theme per year.) Open learning tools Infact.se – Interactive mindmaps, Web tools for producing OER - both open source, web2.0 and licenced is used

Sustainable OER Praxis • Draw on learning object used in current courses • Using criteria: lifecycle, provenience, orginality, broadness, depth, prominence, reliability and solidity • Cooperate with universities, networks and other organizations and educational companies • Agreements that sometimes take a while gain approval for • Remix learning material that have been well used before • Produce OER that fill a gap for others and use TV- and radioprogram with outstanding quality form UR.se Add metadata • Librarians add metadata, model Dublin Core Extended • Enhenced metadata, relevant symbols for the OER

Comparison MOOC and OER Repository about source criticism Critera for the comparison was the following; openness, flexibility, multimodal, remix, accessibility, time to learn content, shareable, searchable, use offline, assessment/test as a learning opportunity and possibility to create your own content/learning material or test/assessments. The two (2) compared ways of find and access to learn about source criticism (“källkritik” in Swedish) was via the open courses (MOOC) at Webbstjärnan http://kurs.webbstjarnan.se/ and the OER Repository named Open SNH, www.opensnh.se .
