seven of the NBA Finals last year, the Golden State
Warriors had the best regular season of any team
throughout the league's 70-year history. Led by back-

and dynamic bench, the Warriors cruised to a 73-9
record, beating the 72-10 record set by Michael

 The Warriors won their first 24 games of the
season, bringing up the inevitable question of
whether or not they could beat the Bulls' record.
And though they did, it didn't come without
challenges. The team's head coach Steve Kerr
took an indefinite leave of absence after
undergoing back surgery in the off-season prior,
leaving assistant coach Luke Walton to lead the
