  4. 4. Sofia is located close to the northern slope of the Vitoshamountain, surrounded by mountains Stara Planina, Vitosha,Lyulin, Lozen Mountain. Five mountain passes lead to thecity - Iskar, Vladayski, Dragoman, Petrohan and Botevgrad. 4
