Project Description:
Project Gateway is a project resulting from an agreement between Westpac Group, BT LMI and a third party
(known as “Arrow”) to provide an integrated LMI offering to the Group’s mortgage Lending Channels.
Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) is a premium charged to customers when their loan value ratio (LVR) for a loan
application exceeds certain thresholds. LMI insures the lender against loss resulting from default of the borrower
where sale of the insured security property does not fully clear the outstanding debt – it does not cover the
borrower.
The Westpac Group currently uses two external mortgage insurance providers:
• Genworth Financial http://www.genworth.com.au/
• QBE LMI http://www.qbelmi.com/pg-home.seo
For Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) for all new mortgage applications that have a loan value ratio (LVR) of
>90% and for loan increases where the original or preceding loan has been insured with Genworth or QBE LMI.
Westpac group also uses one internal insurer:
• BT LMI (also referred to as WLMI)
For Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) for all new mortgage applications that have a loan value ratio (LVR) of
>80% and <= 90% LVR and for loan increases where the original or preceding loan has been insured with BT LMI.
The intention of this project is to replace Genworth and QBE LMI as the provider with ‘Arrow’ for new loan
applications.
The key features of this new arrangement are as follows:
 Westpac Group will enter into an arrangement with Arrow to provide Lenders Mortgage Insurance (“LMI”)
on the Group’s new loan applications >90% LVR segment
 Westpac Group will continue to use the incumbent insurers (Genworth, QBE LMI and WLMI) to provide
Lenders Mortgage Insurance (“LMI”) on the Group’s additional loan applications where the original or
preceding loan is insured by Genworth, QBE LMI or WLMI.
 BT LMI will enter into a management arrangement with Arrow to administer the >90% LVR segment on
Arrow’s behalf – from Westpac’s perspective it will deal with BT LMI exclusively on all LMI matters, but
Arrow will hold the underwriting risk for the >90% LVR segment
 BT LMI’s current ≤ 90% LVR business will remain unchanged

Project Description:
The Westpac/St. George Websites provides customers with the ease of using the website to use their various
products and services offered. Westpac continues to enhance their website features to attract more and more
customers to visit the site and avail the service and products that are being provided by it.
With this Westpac can generate more cross-sell and sales out the website. The continuous improvement in the
website adds more and more complexity and new visuals and redesigns of the website pages and templates. This
document would help testing team to better understand the changes that are being made as part of each release.
It will help them perform the necessary things at the early phase, by identifying the key areas and functionality that
would need to be tested during the testing phase.
Domino Forms, accessed through the website, also continues to improve the conversion of number of users
accessing the forms, by improving the online applying facility, with simplified options and navigation across each of

the pages on the form. It also includes capturing the details of the customers and providing a straight forward
process for applying for various products on the website.
This project was initiated in order to realise the benefit to customers as depicts below:
• Provide simplification by enhancing the features of the application and complexity of using it.

Project Description:
DMS (Document Management System) provides all document management and tracking functionalities
which includes document filing, managing documents, tracking lifecycle of documents, receiving documents via
fax, sending documents via fax/email and accessing documents. DMS provides secure access to all users via
browser. The easy access to documentation improves overall operational efficiency, as all documentation is
instantly accessible as required. In an effort to reduce the amount of paper use and to make searching for files
easier, documents are digitized and sent to the system. Once uploaded, they can be searched by using account
information or by a simple text search. The documents can also be printed, e-mailed, faxed or simply viewed on
your computer. DMS provides both tracking capabilities and image integration along with extensive reporting
capabilities. With the help of DMS, user is able to control the document introduction process. Users are also able
to introduce non-standard documents manually through the system

OREAS replaces the manual workflow and approval process. Complete electronic input and approval of all events in a
user-friendly system. Oreas is developed to approve events electronically for any geographic region. Complete audit trail on
all events showing approval and user activity. Risk / Finance, will have real time global overview of both historical and current
events. Complete audit trail on all events showing approval, user activity, and data updates. Automatic e-mail notification to
both approvers and pre-designated individuals for events over pre-defined amounts/thresholds.

Project Description:
The main aim of this project is to convert the existing MS Access based project to a web-based project using J2EE
architecture. This project will unify different applications inside one portal. All applications will have same look and
feel and usability interface and access is controlled by SSO validation process.
The scope of this project is to standardize these applications using the off-the-shelf systems available on the
market to a common web based system and their data should reside on an Oracle database. The system will have
3-tier architecture; the applications will run on an application server, which will access an Oracle database where
all information is stored and have thin clients on the end users' PCs to connect over the network. These systems
also have to establish communication with EMPAC, which is the system for the asset management currently used
in the Cartagena site. Specifically, applications writing data into EMPAC.

Role : Test Lead Duration : Apr 2015 – Till Date Location : Sydney, Australia Project Description: Project Gateway is a project resulting from an agreement between Westpac Group, BT LMI and a third party (known as “Arrow”) to provide an integrated LMI offering to the Group’s mortgage Lending Channels. Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) is a premium charged to customers when their loan value ratio (LVR) for a loan application exceeds certain thresholds. LMI insures the lender against loss resulting from default of the borrower where sale of the insured security property does not fully clear the outstanding debt – it does not cover the borrower. The Westpac Group currently uses two external mortgage insurance providers: • Genworth Financial http://www.genworth.com.au/ • QBE LMI http://www.qbelmi.com/pg-home.seo For Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) for all new mortgage applications that have a loan value ratio (LVR) of >90% and for loan increases where the original or preceding loan has been insured with Genworth or QBE LMI. Westpac group also uses one internal insurer: • BT LMI (also referred to as WLMI) For Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) for all new mortgage applications that have a loan value ratio (LVR) of >80% and <= 90% LVR and for loan increases where the original or preceding loan has been insured with BT LMI. The intention of this project is to replace Genworth and QBE LMI as the provider with ‘Arrow’ for new loan applications. DMS provides secure access to all users via browser. The easy access to documentation improves overall operational efficiency, as all documentation is instantly accessible as required. In an effort to reduce the amount of paper use and to make searching for files easier, documents are digitized and sent to the system. Once uploaded, they can be searched by using account information or by a simple text search. The documents can also be printed, e-mailed, faxed or simply viewed on your computer. DMS provides both tracking capabilities and image integration along with extensive reporting capabilities. With the help of DMS, user is able to control the document introduction process. Name: Designation: Maruthy Racherla Test Lead #7 Project : GE Plastics Client : GE Role : Test Analyst Duration : Sep 2006 – Jan 2007 Location : Hyderabad, India Project Description: The main aim of this project is to convert the existing MS Access based project to a web-based project using J2EE architecture. This project will unify different applications inside one portal. All applications will have same look and feel and usability interface and access is controlled by SSO validation process. The scope of this project is to standardize these applications using the off-the-shelf systems available on the market to a common web based system and their data should reside on an Oracle database. The system will have 3-tier architecture; the applications will run on an application server, which will access an Oracle database where all information is stored and have thin clients on the end users' PCs to connect over the network. These systems also have to establish communication with EMPAC, which is the system for the asset management currently used in the Cartagena site. Specifically, applications writing data into EMPAC.
