3. Every morning we bought a random set of ingredients,
took an attractive picture and uploaded it to our blog
asking our followers: “guess, what we will cook
today”?
People ordered their What The Food dinner, not
knowing what it would be – a pie, a ragout,
a pizza, a risotto or anything else.
My name is Masha, I am a creator and producer
in different art and media projects.
One of my pet projects is called What The Food,
I launched it in Moscow, Russia. It's an art food
project, where I also worked as a vegetarian chef.

6. THE IDEA

7. Few weeks ago I’ve visited Tel Aviv.
I found out about one tradition here:
all markets give away products for free before Shabbat.
And mostly all the products are of a good quality.
I won't let good vegetables to decay!

8. I'd like to cook free dinners using these free vegetables from the markets.
this dinners should be also free, but if someone wants to pay,
he can pay as much as he want.

10. 1. VEGtables HUNTING

Friday morning we will hunt
for vegetables -
we will ask sellers to give us
some for free –
“Give them to us, otherwise they will die!”
Also we will take funny
video about hunting.
Every seller can
became a superstar!

11. 2. COOKING
We will cook different
unexpected dishes from
all this hunted vegetables.
We can cook during all Friday
before Shabbat starts.

12. 3. eating & PAYINg. or not
We will install dinner table on the
street (near your restaurant or near
the sea) with all food and stand that
will explain our idea. People can
come and eat. For free.
We will install box for money
or give our banking details.
If someone wants
to pay he can pay as much
as he can.

14. what i need
I would need some place to cook – a kitchen with equipment.
It could be done any APRIL Friday (1 day).
we can cook together.

15. Why I think you could be interested:
The event will be advertised in social networks for the Tel Aviv audience before
it starts and after it finishes (video and seeding).
So it will be a good PR for your restaurant.
In case if we see a sufficient demand, we can continue arranging such events every Shabbat.
