The need has also been there, but has been made more important because of the announcement of the two-year z/OS cycle. Benefit: People can learn of important new functions an features of z/OS without having to wait for two years for the announcement of a feature, or without having to review every single PTF that's released Solution: Add a new subscription capability for 'New Function‘ at the time of APAR closure. Impact if no solution provided.: People might miss out on important new functions, especially those that provide improved performance.
