Can You Know God? Yes, according to Psalm 19

 1. 1. Can you really know God?
 2. 2. Psalm 19:1-6

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

 3. 3. Psalm 19:1-6

In them he has set a tent for the sun, which comes out like a bridegroom leaving his chamber, and, like a strong man, runs its course with joy. Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its circuit to the end of them, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.

 4. 4. God Reveals Himself in His Creation

“ The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”

Psalm 19: 1

 10. 14. What does God’s Creation teach us?

Romans 1:20, “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”

 11. 15. Scripture to Contemplate

Psalm 50:6

“ The heavens declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge! Selah”

 12. 16.

Psalm 33:6 “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host.”

 13. 17.

Psalm 57:9-11

“ I will give thanks to you, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to you among the nations.

 14. 18.

Psalm 57:9-11,

For your steadfast love is great to the heavens, your Faithfulness to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!”

 15. 19. God Reveals Himself in His Word!
 16. 20. Psalm 19:7-8

The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple; the precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;
