Several Horsley u3a members have indicated that they would
wish to make personal donations to help the humanitarian
effort in Ukraine. Your committee would like to endorse the
message from the staff and Trustees of the Third Age Trust
(see page 5 of the Spring edition of Third Age Matters) that
their thoughts are with the u3as in Ukraine, their members,
family, friends and neighbourhoods during this terrible time.
Following Government advice on how to do so safely it is
suggested that donations should be made by using the link to
the Disasters Emergency Committee which has brought
together 15 leading UK aid charities including Oxfam and Age
International.
