User Experience is a key differentiator, and when entrepreneurs are convinced they need a designer to make their [insert product name] successful, it can be hard for them to know what they *really* need. There are so many types of designer, with price tags ranging from a one-off $100 to over $150K per year It’s hard to choose the one you need, and disastrous if you get it wrong. Marine has years of experience hiring and working with these folks and will try to condense it into 7.5 minutes.

This talk was first given at Business of Software in Cambridge in June 2014. See: http://businessofsoftware.org.uk/speaker/marine-barbaroux/ and http://vimeo.com/102843843
