  1. 1. Team Tom QAA’s Marieke Guy was part of Team Tom, which included members from the Universities of Oxford, Nottingham, Kent and Plymouth, as well as representatives from CETIS and JISC. If so, contact Marieke Guy (m.guy@qaa.ac.uk) Creating data dashboards to support planning Overview of Analytics Lab l A joint project run by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and Jisc l Cross institutional teams from university strategic planning departments work together to analyse HESA and other data sources for new business insights l The teams agree on user generated business questions that are pertinent for the HE sector and then answer them by designing data dashboards l Dashboards to be delivered through the HESA HeidiPlus BI System Try out data manipulation and analysis tools such as Alteryx and Tableau In asscociation with Work collaboratively using agile methodology Identify and negotiate access to a wide selection of HE collections
