It requires increasing one’s personal awareness; learning to avoid stereotypes; recognizing the worth and dignity of others; and treating people with respect.  The success of an organization depends upon in its ability to embrace diversity by creating a workplace environment that acknowledges and recognizes individual uniqueness and differences. Link with the Previous Session To embrace diversity and/or individual differences is to build collaborative relationships among workmates. It is also a great opportunity to learn how to create a positive, supportive and enabling learning environment. Link with the Next Session One of the strategies to promote learning among students is bringing in school administrators and staff with diverse background.
