  2. 2. The invertebrates are animals without backbone with internskeleton
  3. 3. INVERTEBRATES PORIFERA CNIDARIA JELLYFISHES POLYPS ANELLIDS POLYCHAETES TUBIFIDS WORM HIRUDINEANS MOLLUSCS GASTROPODS CEPHALOPODS BIVALVES ARTHROPODS CRUSTACEANS MYRIAPODS ARACHNIDS INSECTS ECHINODERMS
  4. 4. The porifera are aquatic animals that they can filter water with twolittle holes that are called osculums.
  5. 5. Cnidaria are invertebrates that present tentacles with stinging cells . Cnidaria are divided in 2 groups: The jellyfishes and polyps .
  6. 6. They have stinging cells in their tentacles they also have an umbrella form in their bodies
  7. 7. They live in colonies and they present stinging cells. Their body form is like a sack
  8. 8. Annelids are aquatic and land animals. They are divided in 3 groups. The Polychaetes, the Tubifids worms and the Hirudineans. They can present setae and clitel.
  9. 9. Polychaetes are annelids with setae
  10. 10. Tubifids worms are annelids with clitel and setae
  11. 11. Hirudineans are annelids with clitel
  12. 12. The molluscs have got a soft body and are protected by a shell. They are divided in 3 groups: gastropods, cephalopods andbivalves
  13. 13. The gastrophods have a prominent head and a highlydeveloped shell
  14. 14. The cephalopods have the head and feet highly developed
  15. 15. Bivalves have got two valves
  16. 16. The arthropods are terrestrial and aquatic animals. They are divided in 4 groups: crustaceans, myriapods, arachnids and insects.
  17. 17. Their body is generally divided into three parts: head, thorax and abdomen.
  18. 18. They have two antennae and two jaws and the fourmaxillary
  19. 19. They are terrestrial arthropods with body divided in two parts:cephalothorax, abdomen
  20. 20. They have three body parts: head, thorax and abdomen. They have three pairs of legs and usually two pairs of wings.
  21. 21. The echinoderms are marine animals and they move slowlythrough the rocks, sand, etc.
