  2. 2. Background: GCIL: What we do • One of the largest Disabled Person’s Organisations (DPO)in Scotland • Providing Independent Living Support Services to disabled people since 1995 • GCIL services based on the Social Model of Disability and on the principles of the Independent Living Movement.
