One of our customers is the biggest beef producer in Europe. Earlier last year there was a big scandal in where some beef products were found to have horse meat in them. This lack of trust was very damaging to the industry. We’re helping them to prove that their hamburgers contain 100% beef by using real images to monitor the entire sequence from the field to the table.
The key thing here is integrating the images with their existing software.
We live in a world surrounded by cameras. Security Cameras, cameras on phones, cameras on drones.
The purpose of Evercam is to make them programmable and in doing so to unleash a whole new category of software development that makes use of live images.
We’ve got a platform that enables this, we’ve got great customers using it and today we’re opening it up to the world.
To illustrate this, I’d like to talk through the experience of one of our customers.
