  • VISUALIZATION: Creative visualization is mentally picturing something with passion or emotion and it is a tool to create what we want in our lives. We are combining words with feelings and images. We all create mental images. Think about creating a shopping list for groceries. You have to think ahead about what you want to purchase. You may see the words associated with the items you need, you may see a mental picture, you may just get an impression, but these thoughts come before you make your list. For the skeptics among us, Dr. Andrew Newberg investigates the functioning of the brain, particularly in the role belief plays in structuring our experience. He is Associate Professor of Radiology and Psychiatry at the University of Penn and is also Director and cofounder of the Center for Spirituality and the Neurosciences. He has found that whenever we think about something it has a physical effect on our brain. “The more we keep coming back to a same concept, a same belief and so forth, that is how neural connections get laid down and that becomes what is written into the neural activity of the brain….The brain is capable of changing; it is capable of creating new connections.” “ Our beliefs are deeply tied in with our emotions…. If you use your frontal lobes to focus on something, anything-positive or negative-that becomes our belief system….The frontal lobes connect the emotional parts of the brain.” Newberg contends that we are biologically driven to find meaning and wholeness throughout our lives. EXERCISE: For practice, close your eyes and see your favorite room at home. Imagine sitting in that room. What are you sitting on? What does it feel like? Look like? Smell like? Feel what you are sitting on with your hands. See how you can call up a strong image that even has texture and smell. You can practice visualization by looking at an object with intensity and then closing your eyes and trying to recall as much detail as you can about that object. Pay attention to color, design, shape, light.
  • BELIEVE IT/ACHIEVE IT: Your Expectations Determine Your Results Add story…………………..The Biggest Loser. Wealth has been made by acting upon creative ideas. Use visualization to direct our energy toward what we want. Train ourselves to visualize our prosperity and to move towards that vision. Physics and astronomy teach that energy is infinite. According to science, energy and matter are interchangeable. What does that tell you about our thoughts (they are energy waiting to be made “real”.) We are energy and matter, a part of the universe. Our subconscious mind is our connection to the universe. Your job is to open your channel, your connection to universal energy, knowing you already deserve a full abundant life. You have what you need to create your own prosperity. As soon as you give yourself permission to prosper, step through your fears of failure and success, see that you deserve all that you desire, and move toward what you want, rather than toward what you don’t want, you are deciding to win successfully.
  • We are autonomous and separate while, also, we are part of the entirety. This may be the most important of all the laws of prosperity and abundance. Therefore we need to help everyone get what they want as well as what we want. Anything we want has to be good for all; it cannot take away from another. There is more than enough in the Universe for all of us to prosper. For prosperity, there can be no blame and no shame. Do not blame yourself or others for where you are or where you aren’t. Make the decision to move toward what you want with confidence and pride. You deserve what you desire! And so does everyone else! You will get signals about whether you are on the right path from your mind as well as from your heart and from your gut. All three are centers that provide knowledge about the path we are on. Your thoughts, your feelings and your physical symptoms are providing valuable information. Listen to each one.
  • Create Your Affirmation State it as if it is true NOW. Make it powerful enough that you can FEEL it. Repeat it everyday in a proud and confident voice. Say it at least 10 times each day.    As money and other forms of abundance begin to show themselves in your life, keep track of them.   Most importantly, be grateful for everything you already have in your life and, before you go to sleep at night, review each of them. They can be the big things like your friends and family or you might want to appreciate a paragraph in a book that had real meaning to you or a TV show that made you laugh. Thank the universe every day for all the good in your life.
  • As you go about your life, act AS IF: When we affirm, we are acting “AS IF”. We are declaring what our lives will be like when…………. Thoughts create reality. If you think it, it is real already. If only in your head. The next step is to make it a physical reality. ACT RICH: Act as if you are rich already (don’t go out and spend money you don’t have for a luxury vacation or a new home, etc.) But act as if what you want is coming. Think about how you would feel if you had all the money you want. Feel that way anyway…………………. What does it feel like to be rich? Confident, proud, self-assured, excited, satisfied………
