Two-time all-LSClinebacker cappedoffbyhis senior campaignwhenhe toppedthe 100-tackle mark to leadthe Texans. He
made 44 solostops while assistingon 66 and leading the nationwithfour fumble recoveries. He also made 5.5 tacklesbehind
the line of scrimmage inhis swan songseason for the Purple andWhite.
For his career, Martinez playedin35 gamesover three seasons andwas a part of the 2013 Lone Star Conference Championship
team. He amassedtwo interceptions, four forced fumbles and five fumblerecoveries in his career while making253 total
tackles, including 119 solostops. He made 17.0 tacklesfor a loss in his career anddeflected sevenpasses.
