Event Overview: The Marina Bay Sands’ Dine-Around Experience event took 60 MICE planners on a gastronomic excursion to explore the best
dinning concept and unique venues in one destination. The event embarked on a culinary journey with a cocktail tasting session at the
MasterCard Theaters, and then moved to three Celebrity Chef Restaurants to enjoy culinary samplings. The final destination was the cheese and
chocolate buffet at the beautiful lotus-shaped ArtScience Museum by the bay.

Event Overview: The Forever Living Global Rally 2015 is one of the largest flagship conferences new to Singapore this year, as well as the biggest
corporate event in a single congregation that Marina Bay Sands has hosted to date.

How did Marina Bay Sands Help?
• Configuring flexible meeting spaces for optimal productivity
• A unique corporate social responsibility initiative - charity meal packing activity - in partnership with Marina Bay Sands. For the first time in
its history, the Global Rally partners “Stop Hunger Now” to give back by packing more than 285,000 meals for the under privileged.
• Meals served during the nine-day rally were from Harvest Menu, a standard green option under the Sands ECO360° programme, that offers
locally sourced food and beverage options to reduce Food Miles and lower the emission of greenhouse gases during transportation.
• The Sands ECO360°programme provided a post-event sustainability report that captures the event’s sustainability highlights, and provide a
comprehensive summary of energy and water consumption at a glance. This is a first for Forever Living Products.

FOREVER LIVING GLOBAL RALLY 2015
Date: April 2015
Event Overview: Modelled after the highly successful Maison&Objet Paris, the four-day Leading design and décor event Maison&Objet held a
resounding Asia debut at Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Marina Bay Sands proved to be the ideal destination for the fair as it is hailed as an
iconic architecture in its own right.
No. of Attendees: Over 13,000 visitors and over 270 exhibitors spread over 6,000 square metres of space.
How did Marina Bay Sands Help?
• The show was an extensive project in terms of scale and setup. Together with the event organiser, the Marina Bay Sands MICE team spent
five consecutive nights providing technical and logistical support to move the massive exhibition displays into the expo halls.
• To sync in tandem with the event theme, the MICE team also made use of the expo’s existing F&B space to create a café complete with full
restaurant seating and tableware.
• The team also created different menus that were served throughout the event – from a three-course western meal to French and Japanese

MAISON & OBJET ASIA 2014

Event Overview: The Responsible Business Forum (RBF) 2013 is a two-day forum which focused on bringing business leaders together to
accelerate business solutions and policy frameworks for a more sustainable future and also discussed how responsible event planning can lead
to a positive legacy by reducing the environmental impact of the event’s operations. As the first MICE facility in the region to achieve ISO20121
and a multiple sustainability awards winner, Marina Bay Sands was invited to open the forum with a welcome speech.

How did Marina Bay Sands Help?
• The organisers of RBF adopted the Sands ECO360° green Harvest Menus but also requested for them to be 100% vegetarian. This posed a
challenge for the chef to create new sustainable menus with limited food supply options.
• Marina Bay Sands invested meticulous planning into every aspect of the forum to ensure RBF meets their green standards and goal of
creating a 100% carbon-offset event. This includes offering sustainable menus, recycling programme, waste management and engaging the
delegates to give back to the community through the property’s Sands ECO360° programme.
