Recently, many not-for-profits faced a challenging task: implementing the Cost Principles and Administrative Requirements of the Uniform Grant Guidance (Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards or UGG). Many struggled with best practice solutions for how to adapt their existing protocol for the guidance the UGG replaced, which included cost circulars such as the OMB Circular A-21, A-122, A-133 and others.
