PROJECT MANAGER
MAGHREB ECONOMICFORUM (MEF)
We are seeking to hire a Project Manager who will be an integral member of the MEF’s team an d responsible
for delivering and building projects of varying size and complexity. The Project Manager is responsible for
directing, organizing and controlling project activities, under the direction of the DeputySecretary General.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless executionof projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and withinbudget
To provide clear, accurate and up to date information and schedules regarding MEF’s projects to
enable MEF staff and performers to deliver them effectively and ontime
To gather statistics for evaluation purposes from seminars, surveys, trips, workshops and research
work for use in internal reports.
To assist the Deputy SG in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s,tenders, budgets, cash
flows and preliminaryschedules
To prepare project organization and communication charts under the direction of the Senior
Communication Expert
To track the progress and quality of work beingperformed
To use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and
expenditures
To effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevantstakeholders and ensuring
technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability andallocation
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and trackprogress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using
appropriate verification techniques
Measure project performance using appropriate tools andtechniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and allstakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with thirdparties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Candidate Profile &Requirements
Bachelor/Master degree in a relatedfield
2+ years of experience in a project coordination/management function with a track record preferably in
civil society field.
Experience in projects’reporting
A passion for and dedication to civil society & Tunisia’s development
Demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage key relationships
Self-motivated, proactive with entrepreneurial spirit;
Excellent project managementskills
Demonstrated ability to work in a team, supervise, ensure quality management,track budget expenses, be
results-driven, delegate, manage time
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-taskingskills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Fluency in English, Arabic and French isrequired.
